Two mandates, one transition

Spain approaches e-invoicing on two tracks:

  1. Verifactu (anti-fraud regulation): invoicing software must meet AEAT certification requirements — for companies by 1 January 2027, for the self-employed by 1 July 2027.
  2. Crea y Crece (B2B e-invoicing): mandatory structured B2B e-invoices for businesses with turnover above €8M from October 2027, and for all businesses from October 2028.

When choosing software, both compliance layers matter: is the package Verifactu-certified, and can it exchange structured B2B e-invoices?
